While I think Polly's drive is to be commended, I'm curious about the specifics she has in mind and how she plans to accomplish her goals?

Greater awareness is certainly needed, as are proper support networks for individuals with autism and their families. It is not clear how she plans to accomplish such a goal (e.g., saving £500 million per year by helping autistic adults get jobs).

She has also openly supported Wakefield, which calls into question her judgment. Is she going to carry on Wakefield's erroneous campaign against the MMR? I'm not convinced that her efforts will lead to better conditions for autistic adults.
